Have you ever used Dry Shampoo? It's amazing! As a busy mom of 4, I don't always have time to take a shower and wash my hair. Plus, I have found that the longer I go between washes the better my hair looks!

If you are wondering what Dry Shampoo is, it is a powder that is oil-absorbing. When it is applied to the hair, it helps to soak up excess grease without wetting your hair. It can also add texture to your hair.

Check out this video I made to show how I make a super simple, do-it-yourself Dry Shampoo at home!

This recipe comes from Modern Essentials Living.

To make this recipe, you will need:

2 Tbsp. Arrowroot Powder (or for dark hair use 1 Tbsp. Arrowroot Powder + 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder)

1-3 drops essential oil(s)

There are lots of options when it comes to choosing which essential oils to use. Popular choices include Lavender, Rosemary, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, and Cedarwood. My favorite two oils to use are Rosemary and Cedarwood. Feel free to comment below with the oils you would use!

If you would like to purchase some essential oils, I highly recommend doTERRA and would love to help you out! Learn more here or send me a message for more info to get started. oilswithjamie@gmail.com

If you try this recipe out, I would love to hear what you think!
